The Rock-n-Roll Dan and Jean Ehrlich are musicians. They have traveled across the world to music festivals and events. Like most musicians and event attendees, they ate on the run or snacked late at night. They shopped at convenience stores and supermarkets for their meals. The choices in snack foods were always the same: high in fat, sodium and chemicals while lacking in nutrient value. If they found something healthy, it didn't taste great. If it tasted great, it wasn't healthy. Great tasting and healthy snack foods were hard to find. So what do two health-conscious snack food consumers do? They start a snack food company. Dan and Jean gave birth to ROCK-N-ROLL GOURMET while filming an interview for MusicIndustryTelevision.com. Dan asked for something to drink. Jean noticed that there were plenty of drink sponsors at the event. She handed Dan a sparkling water and said, "So many drink sponsors-why don't they have a snack food? Then Dan replied, in typical Dan fashion, "I have an idea...let's start a snack food company." And that's how the idea of ROCK-N-ROLL GOURMET was born. They knew they wanted to make a healthy snack that tasted truly amazing-totally addicting with major munch factor. It had to be low in fat and completely natural. As their ideas for the new snack food grew, so did their ideas for what they could put on the bag. They combined their knowledge of music and music themes and came up with a packaging concept driven by funky names, flashy colors, and cool cartoon characters. But they had one more platinum idea-promoting bands and artists right on the back of every bag and flavor! ROCK -N- ROLL GOURMET is all about natural snack foods with a rock-n-roll attitude.
